Overflowing with Emptyness

Overflowing
Things are never what they seem.
The cup that overflows,
Is often too shallow to be full.

Fulfilled is not full
On a tiny plate.

Screams are silent
If no one is listening.
Silence is deafening,
If no one hears it.

The struggle
Is exhausting.

Thanks! Sometimes there are words that absolutely must be written...like taking a breath, that one just fell out of me last night.

No I have not attempted publishing. I wouldn't know where to start? LOL! Is there a Redneck Poets Society?
